How to enter Nepal

Nepal lies as a yam between two boulders i.e. India and China. It is a land-locked country. So, it is accessible by land or air.

 

By Land:

Nepal shares the borders with China on the northern side and India on the south, the eastern and the western sides. So, you will have to enter Nepal either through China or India. The entry point from China to Nepal is the KODARI PASS at the border of Nepal-China. There are multiple entry points from India to Nepal that are Mahendra Nagar, Birgunj, Kakarbhitta, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi, and Belhiya.

 

By Air:

There is an International Airport in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Twelve different International Airlines are operated on a regular basis to Kathmandu. The Royal Nepal Airlines has been operating flights to India (Delhi, Mumbai), Thailand (Bangkok), Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan (Osaka), China (Shanghai), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Qatar, Bangladesh, Bhutan, etc.

Airlines like Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Silk Airways, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Gulf Air, Etihad Airways, Fly Dubai, Thai Airlines, Druk Air, Biman, etc. are linked to Nepal Airlines on daily basis.
