On the “Day Tour of Everest Base Camp in Helicopter”, you will take off from Kathmandu i.e. 1300 meters to the maximum height of 5545 meters in a few hours. The sudden increment in the altitude sometimes gives you the AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). So, Safety is the priority and the most important during any trip. Before beginning the Helicopter tour, the Diamox tablet can be taken as a precaution. Consultation with the doctor before booking the Helicopter tour is safer and more beneficial.

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour Best Time

The tour in Everest Base Camp (EBC) is a golden opportunity. Hence, you will always look for the best time to travel to EBC. September to April is the recommended duration to take the Helicopter tour to EBC. Even though the Autumn and the Spring seasons are the peak season for tourists to visit Nepal, the helicopter day tour during the Winter also offers the equally clear awe-inspiring views of the Himalayan vista. During the Monsoon season, the clouds block the views. So it is not recommended to travel from June to August.
